Woodcraft products handmade by us, in our shop.

All our pieces start with two things: A beautiful piece of wood, selected by us; and the desire to create something that both we and our clients can be delighted by and proud of for years to come.

What do we make? Well, you’d be surprised.

While we have a few ‘standard’ items that continue to be popular, year after year – almost everything we make starts with a particular request from a client. Sometimes they’re looking for a special gift, sometimes they have a unique design in mind – often the final product is a result of collaboration between us and our client.

We encourage you to look at some of the ideas we have on the site or visit our blog to see some of what we’ve been working on lately.

What woods do we use?

For our woodcraft items, we tend to be wood-agnostic: In other words, we look to make a match between the right piece of wood and the right object to be created. Over the years we’ve worked with all kinds of woods, from local pieces that we picked after a tree was knocked down in a storm, to more exotic pieces that we’ve sourced ourselves or which have been brought to us by clients.

Of course, the wood from every tree will have its own characteristics – even from trees of the same species – and finishes, waxes and stains can also make a big difference to the finished product.
